This also angers me that I cannot boot a kernel without doing the wire trick.. I am a bit intimidated in doing so, fearing that it may fry my expensive device which I just paid for.

Getting so annoyed... I cannot get a rom to go on this phone... I get stuck at the HTC screen. Everything was wiped... what am i doing wrong? I am trying to install mobster 1.0.6

He just has a ty phone. Please root that phone and get set cpu. Undervolt to the lower setting. That should fix your problem

This rom is the only one I've seen with flash and the power menu options that it has. If I could find a full cyanogenmod id definately use that. Wish I knew how to program

Everyones phone seems to run different. Like my girls opt v doesn't overclock as much as most. This rom just made a damn good start for my rom and it runs great for me. Sorry it didn't work for you bro. :\

Just so everyone knows. The rom did come from me but a different tinkerer gave it to me. I don't know if he has done anything since and don't remember his username. He'll probably eventually see the thread. Idk. But his rom is the best in my opinion

Anyone who wants the STalkon rom need just PM me. its SU binary is updated, has flash player has a custom boot custom shutdown custom icons removed bloatware has busy box prerooted custom lockscreen and other features.

I can give u the stalkon. Its what I based mine off of.

Lol flash player does work on my rom. But I'm not releasing it till I perfect it.

To all lg optimus q owners. To root. Use the driver from the v701 optimus slider from lg mobile support tool. U must download this from lg.com to obtain root use the lg esteem method. Works first shot. There you go you have root access. For a custom recovery search for the recovery. Easy to find...

I'm sure he'd be willing to work on the slider too. But I've made my own rom. Just break down a cyanogen rom and get the files you need. I have cyanogen settings and I'm using the hellicious rom.

The only things u won't be able to change are the lockscreen and the signal bars.
