I had the same issue in my place. I think the trick is to have certain data plan (here it is 1 GB minimum a month) the second issue I believe is your carrier has to have coverage in the area where you are trying to connect to 4G signal. Posted via Android Central App

Since I updated my unlocked HTC one to 4.2.2 the drain doesn't occur. I can go over night with only 1% going down. Try Lso to turn off automatic Google apps update. Posted via Android Central App
