    Well I may have spoken too soon. Using FMHD (tablet) I can copy a PDF file from main memory to external SD. I could not do that before 4.04. But weird is that it seems to work only with PDF. Cannot copy other types.

    Just received 4.04 OTA on a stock wifi Xoom YES !!!! it works. Can write to card. Now I can say this is the best tablet.
