This is my same experience. Very frustrating.

I have never heard an official date, but I thought the embargo would be lifted on release day, which would be Thursday.

Yes it does. I have been using it with mine for about two weeks now with no issues. It's expensive, but I had Best Buy rewards to help pay and I don't regret using them on it.

Does anyone know if Verizon will eventually get it? I'm particularly interested in the 42mm rise gold with LTE.

Also, in the past I have used my phone to take pictures of student work. I have a chromecast in my classroom that I can mirror my phone to and display the work. I can then write directly on the screen with the s-pen to annotate the images. I don't do this much anymore as I now use an iPad Pro.

I'm a high school math teacher. My students will text me their questions. I use the pen to handwrite responses to the students and then I send them the image. I also find that swiping on a keyboard is easier for me than using my finger.

I picked the S9 for the same exact reason. I am keeping my Note 8 in case I want to go back to a bigger screen. But right now I love the size of the smaller S9.

After you install the stopwatch, you can go into settings -> device -> double press home key. There you can choose the stopwatch to open when you double press the home key and can easily pull up the app any time.

If you are going to take a lot of notes, try LectureNotes. I find it very intuitive to use just the basics, but if you want a lot of flexibility and options, it has it. I have been using it for years and love it.
