    Installing and re-installing android applications

    I use an app "App Backup and Restore". This saves all the installed apks on the SD card. After Factory Reset, just install "App Backup and Restore" at first. Then reinstall all apps from the saved apk's.

    In case you are sure that your tinkering with the settings has landed you in this condition, why don't you try clearing the app's data from Applications Manager? You can then start from a clean slate and set up once again to your requirement.
