Wait how did you get 4g? All I get is edge. What apn are you using ? I even tried a tmobile SIM card and same thing just getting edge. Are you sure it's a Verizon phone? Is it rooted or running another Rom ?

I'm using a straight talk att sim in my verizon htc one. I can only get edge data and mms does not work.

Well the SIM card works. I get text, calls, no sms though. Data is only Edge on the HTC One. I switched the SIM card to my Droid DNA and I get an H symbol instead. Speed is decent on H and I wish the One would also get it but I guess it does not have the proper bands.

No that is a good idea. I did a full wipe on my DNA the other day but you have to do so using custom recovery. Which is installed after you unlock the bootloader. I'll keep any eye on XDA, hopefully the dev there in charge of rumrunner can update his utility.

The new bootloader prevents you from rolling back. Good thing I didn't try it because it would have resulted in a mint bricked HTC One. Also, I think you need to be root to flash other ROMS/Software.

Yeah they did. On XDA there is rumrunner but it is not updated for 4.3. Other methods work if you change your cid to all 1's. But you can not do that wuithout S-OFF. And I do not think you can get s off without an unlocked bootloader, hehe. Guess I will need to wait..sucks I should have kept...

I think there is a work around to get faster than edge data on the s3. I saw a post on xda. I ordered a SIM and I'll see how it goes. Worse comes to worst I'll just have to stick with Verizon and swap out my DNA for the one.
