I had the same problem. After 3 days reading the forums and testing "solutions" I decided to go for RESET. Before doing complete wipe I started with RESET SETTINGS - try it. It worked for me! No more battery drain. All apps and data saved. Took 1 min to restore my ringtone and theme.
