Still unreliable works only 60% of the time for me. With a screen protector or dirty hands even worse. By far the biggest issue with the phone.

I had both and returned the standard 6 just didn't feel premium compared to the pro. Only thing I liked about the 6 was the flat screen. Almost everything about the Pro is better. Don't see the Pro ever getting face unlock.

I also came from 4a 5G loved that phone. Have to say the Pixel 6 Pro is a massive upgrade but what I miss the most is the small form factor and flat screen. Hoping the 6A comes out. If you dont care about the high specs then I would stay.

How can you possibly use this phone if your a tradie. Having dirty hands all the time no chance unlocking it.

I don't have any of these issues at all that you are describing. Having said that I don't use rules. My P6 Pro has been rock solid with no issues. I believe the screen flickering is a known issue for some users which Google is addressing soon. My only issue is the finger print scanner is slow...

I believe I have worked out how to make the fps better. I re scanned my thumbs on an angle as for me when when I rest my finger on the fps I tend to do it on angle instead of flat. Yes it's still slow but Now it works 95% of the time.

What did you do different mine is still only working 70% of the time only.

Yeah tried that put my finger at different angles. Hopefully Google pushing some software updates to improve it.

No screen protector as yet
