All S6 have the fm chip. The only difference is that Sprint sells their S6 with the fm chip enabled, the other carriers have it disabled. TMobile just enabled it on the S7 and S7E. Works like a charm, hopefully they'll go back and update the S6 now.

Fine, but shouldn't the carrier and/or Samsung give us that information? I love the S6 Active despite it being a Samsung device and despite the carrier branding. But if on top of dealing with ATT & Samsung crapware, I also cannot get timely updates, this will have to be my last carrier branded...

I want Verizon and HTC to be blocked from putting crap apps on my phone which I cannot uninstall. They have my permission to put as much garbage as they think they can sell to me on the phone prior to purchase as long as I have the ability to remove it, it is after all supposed to be my phone.
