You can reapply the stock icons (or apply a different one) over the theme's icon packs though.

What kind of permissions issues? What messages are you seeing? Are you using Samsung's default file manager? (My Files) I just tried transferring a random files from my SD card to a random flash drive + OTG. It worked fine for me.

You can manually reorder the Quick Settings buttons to your heart's content by first pulling down the Quick Settings menu, tapping on the three dots icon and choosing "Edit".

You have to (re)enable split-screen in order to get the "long press to open split screen" option back. Probably because it's now part of Nougat rather than a Samsung feature. It's in Settings > Advanced Features > Multi Window. I actually don't know how to even do split screen without this...

If it was a browser link that gave you said "virus warning", and you phone vibrated and possible made a noise, It's a fake. Just really annoying popups. Anyone who has dabbled in downloading 3rd party apks (Not off play store) has encountered them, they seem to be a staple for the file hosting...
