How can I disable the build in Android lock screen notificationsbut keep Moto Display?

Hi! I posted this in the Ask-A-Question before I remembered my account info here. :) Thought I'd ask in the right forum for my phone too. Phone - Moto X Force (unlocked Droid Turbo 2) OS - Android 6.0 I prefer the Moto Display notifications, and don't want to see the Android lock-screen...

    Which phone would be comparable

Who's your carrier? If you want smaller than the Nexus 6, you could consider Moto X Play. If you want beefier than that, you could consider the Droid Turbo 2, if on Verizon, or its global version the Moto X Force, if not.

Am I the only one that thinks this phone is a complete POS?

Man that stinks that you're having so many problems. I'm still enjoying mine. 1. Only once have I had to pull the battery. 2. I probably reboot it ~once every week or two just on principle. I would probably do this with any phone. This is just good practice IMO. 3. Doesn't seem slow usually...

    Cases?

I'm happy with the cheap one I got here: Amazon.com: Black Hard Case Cover+LCD Screen Protector for Motorola Admiral XT603: Cell Phones & Accessories I was super glad I had it when I juggled my phone getting out of the car with my hands full. Probably about a 5 foot drop onto the parking lot...

SBF Package and Restore Tool for Motorola Admiral

Don't know what exactly you're referring to. There's an app called Titanium backup that can do backups and restores. It requires root. The free version make you back up apps one at a time. The paid version let's you do them all at once.

App Compatibility with the Admiral's 640x480 Screen

Most apps work fine. I've only ever had one app that I cared about that I was not able to get via the market: Words with Friends. Even that has a work-around for the slightly more advanced user. (downloading on another device and side-loading as described in this thread.)

    Rooting the Motorola Admiral

Some apps that do unusual things require "root" (superuser, Administrator in the Windows world) access to the device. By default, the Android operating system does not give this access to apps you install. Of course built in apps can have this access, as well as apps that the manufacturer of...

Good find. It's disappointing something doesn't work as intended on this. Even though you shouldn't have to, have you tried any apps for this from the Market?
