Most phones' power buttons are small, but they stick out. This phone's power button is supposedly counter-sunk to prevent accidental pressing. Makes me wonder if it'll be annoying to use with my big fat sausage fingers.

It's the size of the power button that mainly concerns me. And I still haven't seen any cases that are currently available specifically for it (haven't exactly scored the earth, though). It'll probably be fine, but Verizon could #&?% up an anvil with a rotten banana....

Does anyone know if these cases will fit the Verizon version as well as the others? Haven't seen any discussion of that point, but the rear button differences might cause a fitment issue.

Update: I bought a couple of the retractable charge-only cables from Monoprice, but my phone still recognizes the charger as USB with them. The only cable I have found that takes advantage of the charger's full capabilities is the one from Amazon that I linked to above. Might try an Anker, but...

I have a New Trent Arcadia 7000mah portable charger. It has a 1A port and a 2.1A port (for tablets), but my GNex only recognizes it as a USB connection, so both ports charge at ~300mah. I'm just wondering if anyone else is using this charger, or using a different one that is recognized as AC.

Just thought about something: are you using Dolphin when it happens? I use the stock browser and Dolphin, but so far this has only happened with Dolphin. Too be fair, I haven't been downloading images with the stock browser.
