    Motorola customer "service"

I don't know where else to turn, so I'm asking for advice here. Around lunchtime Monday, I called Motorola to confirm that the Droid Maxx Developer Edition was in stock, and find out if it could be delivered to me NO LATER than Friday. After repeatedly failing to understand that I was...

The G2's battery lasts longer than the Droid Maxx? (Says Engadget)

Snareman, I'll withhold a final call on battery comparison, but the main thing is that the Maxx battery lasts excessively long. Even if the G2 only lasts 75% as long, I'll probably never have to plug in before going to bed at night. Tomorrow will be its first full, regular day (I've been off...

The G2's battery lasts longer than the Droid Maxx? (Says Engadget)

I have both. Just got the G2 3 days ago, but so far, there's no way its battery lasts as long as the Maxx's does. There's no shame in that, though. I have gotten my Maxx to below 50% one time, and that was with nearly 5 hours talk time and almost 6 hours of screen time. Honestly, I have a...

Anyone actually seen a pic of Verizon version?

It's gonna look like an NHL hockey rink.

Anyone actually seen a pic of Verizon version?

Most phones' power buttons are small, but they stick out. This phone's power button is supposedly counter-sunk to prevent accidental pressing. Makes me wonder if it'll be annoying to use with my big fat sausage fingers.

Anyone actually seen a pic of Verizon version?

It's the size of the power button that mainly concerns me. And I still haven't seen any cases that are currently available specifically for it (haven't exactly scored the earth, though). It'll probably be fine, but Verizon could #&?% up an anvil with a rotten banana....

Anyone actually seen a pic of Verizon version?

Great point, JSpinaris! Hasn't seen that. The buttons really do look slimmer than I'd like.

Anyone actually seen a pic of Verizon version?

I'm going to pick up the VZW LG G2 on Thursday. Thinking about ordering a case online (vs. overpaying for one in store), but I'm not sure of the version differences. Everyone has seen the pic of the Verizon G2, but it honestly looks more like a render than a photo to me. I'm just wondering if...

    Which case are you getting?

Does anyone know if these cases will fit the Verizon version as well as the others? Haven't seen any discussion of that point, but the rear button differences might cause a fitment issue.

Anyone else using a portable charger?

Update: I bought a couple of the retractable charge-only cables from Monoprice, but my phone still recognizes the charger as USB with them. The only cable I have found that takes advantage of the charger's full capabilities is the one from Amazon that I linked to above. Might try an Anker, but...

Anyone else using a portable charger?

If anyone sees this and is having the same problem, I bought this charge-only USB cable from Amazon: Amazon.com: Naztech Micro USB Charging Cable - BlackBerry, Cal-Comp, HTC, LG, Samsung, Nokia, and Sony Ericsson: Cell Phones & Accessories My New Trent charger is now recognized as AC, and...

Anyone else using a portable charger?

What about car chargers? My car charger is recognized as an AC source. It might just be that this particular app only sees a source as AC or USB. Either way, the car charger performs at its advertised rate of 1A. I can plug it directly (through a series of DC adapter cords) to a marine...

Anyone else using a portable charger?

I have a New Trent Arcadia 7000mah portable charger. It has a 1A port and a 2.1A port (for tablets), but my GNex only recognizes it as a USB connection, so both ports charge at ~300mah. I'm just wondering if anyone else is using this charger, or using a different one that is recognized as AC.

Just thought about something: are you using Dolphin when it happens? I use the stock browser and Dolphin, but so far this has only happened with Dolphin. Too be fair, I haven't been downloading images with the stock browser.
