I HAVE FIXED THIS ON MY PHONE
I have not seen anyone mention this and my phone now seems to be function so this looks to be a solution and one that sounds entirely logical.
I did 2 things:
1) Booted in safe mode (hit down volume on restart until it boots into safe mode)
