It's a Huawei psmart 2021, I tried resetting no and it says reset failed. And shows an exclamation mark

I can't set a password, fingerprint or pin or face recognition for lock screen. When I try to set a fingerprint, I'm required to enter a pin or password or pattern twice. Instead of setting the fingerprint, I revert back to the screen where I have to chose a screen lock type

Please help me

I have exactly the same problem and yes I bought the phone used I bought it used at the mall not online
