    7 out of 10 times my notification sound will stop half way through. Is this happening to anyone else? It's very annoying.

    That's what I was afraid of. I had gosms on my bionic but something about it rubbed me the wrong way after months of use and went back to stock messaging. So either ill deal with the screen on or I'll re download gosms. Thanks for the help.

    When I receive a new text the screen comes on. I don't want that to happen because when I grab it from my pocket I hit emergency dialer every time. Plus the screen coming on just plain annoys me. Sorry for my lack of explanation.
