I've had the same thing with my phone in Raleigh, NC. Signal just isn't there, or even if it is apps like the google voice to text will say there's no network.

Mine does the same thing, and it won't charge on ANY USB chargers anymore, it has to be a direct charger. The phone recognizes that it's plugged in but the battery keeps draining instead of recharging. I've tried doing a few power cycles, resets and even taking my battery out of the phone...
