Just got the December update tonight, January 11, 2017. I'm on Project Fi. Still no Nougat update. Still on 6.0.1.

Very strange. Today I switched to Arrow launcher and haven't had the blur all day. Strange I even switched to Google launcher and Action 3 launcher for a few minutes each. No blur. Hard to figure out.

Thanks for your reply. Interesting thing. It does happen when I use the Google launcher, but not when I use the Google wallpapers. In other words if I use the stock launcher with stock wallpaper, no problem. If I use non stock wallpaper I eventually get the blur no matter which launcher I use...

Ive had my Nexus 6 about a year and the weirdest thing is happening in the last week or so. I set my wallpaper image and everything is fine. But then, later, and I don't know what triggers it, the wallpaper will blur. I can set the image again,no problem, but after a while it happens again...

I thought i read somewhere that once you deactivated the number associated with your iCloud account and associated it with a non iPhone account, that you couldn't go back to iPhone with that same number.
