I think the auto adjust works, but muuuuuuch slower than previous Samsung phones. I noticed that when I'm in a dark room and I use iris unlock, it opens at full brightness... Quite blinding. But I watched it once and it seemed to be slowly dimming... I mean like INCH WORM slowly, so that it was...

Didn't say 100% customizable. But a clock? Yes. Shouldn't have to go through the trouble of rooting for a clock, but I might try it in the future, when I gather enough reasons.

I have tried this. This change applies ONLY to the always on display clock. NOT the default lock screen clock. They are two different things, apparently. I don't use the AOD.

Right. I just don't like how the hours and minutes are stacked on top of each other, that's very unsightly and awkwardly placed to me. And it takes away from my lock screen wallpapers LOL. It might seem like a small thing, but on a $900+ device, I would expect this small thing to be all the way...

I've tried 10+ themes, none of them changed the clock. As the other poster mentioned, only the font and color change... Even though on some of the previews of the themes, the clock shows a different format. I don't use the AOD.

Well I know what DIDN'T update... The hideous structure of the clock on the lock screen! Smh. I reeeeeeeeally wish there was a way to change that, LOL

Yes, the disable toggle just showed up for me too, after another update this morning. Oh, happy day! LOL

I had the S7 Edge. I, too, was a casualty of the Note 7 recall... *tear* I held onto it as long as I could, until the OTA update that stopped it from charging, LOL. But I am ecstatic to have the Note 8, I love it so far.

Man, I saw an update available today for Bixby, but it did NOT include the option to disable the button. Smh. I'm on AT&T, so it may be next century before we get it. *thumbs down*
