Because I just LOVE pure Android! You can imagine how frustrated I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 4! GREAT hardware, don't get me wrong, but Samsung's implementation of Android is just high on the feature side and low on the performance side... :-(

Those who can't upgrade to 5.1.1 for now, disable the default SMS app and use Textra instead. Stagefright protection and an app that is Play Store upgradeable. I imagine Google's SMS apps (Hangouts and the SMS-only app) will have protection soon, as well, but as far as I know it, they don't...
