Thanks. These ones are rechargeable but the charger wouldn't be connected. Normal AAs are 1.5v and that would probably make the voltage too high at 4.5v I still use the OG for uploading my 6Pro pics to my Google account for free storage.

I got sold what I think is a dodgy replacement battery for my Pixel OG. It behaves the same thing as the original battery I removed. Since I have the battery monitoring PCB off the old battery, and before I buy another replacement, can I remove the battery and wire three AAs totalling 3.6volts...
