Well ... that's ... the ... suck. Ok, follow up. 1) What contact app is the easiest (e.g. least amount of screen taps) to initiate a call from and initiate an SMS from? 2) What about messaging apps, is there one that allows easy (as in least amount of screen taps) selection from your contacts?

So, 'upgraded' my phone from Android 4.X (Galaxy S3 Mini) to 5.X (LG 2 Escape). Previously I could via my Contacts... Left Swipe to Text Right Swipe to Call Can't do that anymore with the default Contacts. I've tried a few different Contact Apps... Contacts+, Contacts Ultra, FullContact. But...
