Call AT&T (not a local store - the 800 number) and ask them to reverse the $35 re-stocking fee. I have tried that in the past and have had the $35 credited back to my account. Just be nice and explain that you felt that you had a defective phone and instead of taking a chance on the same phone...

I used Android File Transfer. You just drag and drop the songs, videos, pictures, etc. from iTunes to your S3. It worked great for me.

I used Android File Transfer to move the songs and videos from my iTunes to my S3, and that converted all of the files for me with no problems at all. You can also transfer photos and I am sure other items from iTunes to your phone. Hope this helps. :)

I used Android File Transfer when Kies did not work on my Macbook Pro running Mountain Lion. Worked great (just drag and drop).

I could not get doubletwist to work, so I used Android File Transfer and that worked great. Any tricks to get doubletwist to work.

That is correct. You may need a sim adapter for it though. The sim on the iPhone is a micro-sim, and the sim for the nexus is not.

Sorry if I do not understand completely; do you have to ask for it when they are setting the phone up at the AT&T store, or is there an app that must be utilized for this to work? Thank you in advance. I am getting the S III tomorrow.

I have been with the iPhone since the 3G and have upgraded every year, until this one (the "new" iPhone, or whatever they are going to call it). My next device (hopefully tomorrow - this weekend for sure) will be the S III. iOS has become so boring and old. It will be a learning curve, but one...

IMHO, I do not think that the average Verizon customer will care if there is an unlocked phone available. Especially for the price difference. The average customer (regardless of carrier) wants a phone the looks good, performs good, and probably now more than ever takes good pictures and video...
