Working fine on my 6p with 7.1.1

Yep, I had enrolled/unenrolled back in august to get 7.0. Then re-enrolled in Oct to get the security update and 7.1.1 DP. Then unenrolled in late Oct. because of horrible battery life. It did a complete wipe and factory reset, and then proceeded to take me back to 7.0. Battery life...

Still no November security update for me. Anyone else fail to get it? I'm on 7.0, after dropping out of the 7.1.1 DP and reverting back to 7.0. Security updates have not come regularly ever since I originally joined the beta program in August to get nougat.

And re-install 7.0, right? thanks!

Not sure on that. I got the security patches a week ago before 7.1DP came out. What would happen now, I'll have to defer to others more knowledgeable. I did ask your same question about installing 7.1 over on the nougat forum and someone responded it would wipe my device if I decided it...

Good things to hear. I too am thinking of re-enrolling in the beta to get 7.1dp, but what happens if I find it's not stable enough, etc. for me and want to un-enroll in the beta program? Will it wipe my device and re-install 7.0?

I faced the same scenario - enrolled in beta, immediately got Nougat, un-enrolled, no sept. or oct security updates. I had to re-enroll in the beta program and immediately received the oct. security update, then un-enrolled again. Must be some way to break this cycle...... Although, now I'm...

Sorry just saw this.... I didn't physically turn it off in the phone, I just "forgot" the 5GHz network my wireless router broadcasts so my phone I only connects to my 2.4 GHz network. My router is setup to broadcast both a 5GHz and 2.4GHz band. Seemed to do the trick for me.

Yeah. Last week it would not work - kept giving me an error trying to open and install the app. Tried it just now and it worked! Now, I can install my Amazon apps! Thanks!

For me turning off 5GHz WiFi did the trick. Did a factory reset, but still had a lot of wake time on Android OS. Not til I turned off my 5GHz wifi connection and went back to 2.4GHz did I see a noticeable improvement.

That's good to hear, but I can't even get the Amazon Underground app to install since I did a factory reset and clean install. It worked fine when I first installed Nougat, but due to severe battery drain I went the factory reset route. Solved my battery drain (that and turning off 5GHz WiFi)...

yeah, I don't have the always on option, but maybe that's a new thing with the 6p. I'm still making my 5 work. My option is "From any screen" and it says "Responds to your voice . Works when the screen is on or the device is charging." Hmm, maybe another reason to upgrade to the 6p....... :)

I thought it only worked with the screen off when it was charging.

Wired charging worked again last nite for me. Anyone update to KitKat yet with this problem that can confirm it solved the issue?

I too got update 3 on my nexus 7 last nite and low and behold I just got Hangouts 2.0 on my N4!!! Hang in there it's coming!!
