    incoming group messages now come in as separate messages

    I had this issue as well, Solved it by going the message apps settings, multimedia settings and turning on auto-retrieve while roaming (the regular auto-retrieve was already on) but for some reason the while roaming one needs to be on as well, that's what worked for me
