I've tried both ways, setting focus and not, and I still can't seem to get the detail and clarity others are getting.

Just got my G5 a few days ago and I really wish I loved the camera, but I don't yet. The wide angle is great, but what about the regular lens? Some of you have posted gorgeous pictures, am I missing a trick or a setting? I wish they were clearer, crisper. Thanks in advance for your tips...

Does doing a factory reset fix the Lollipop issue where Gmail doesn't sync/push new messages? Does anyone have sync issues AFTER doing a factory reset? I know I should just do it, but I swear, I'll need to carve out an hour or two to get it back to how I like it. Thank you!

UPDATE: The problem returned after the factory reset. Contacts containing birthdays crashed when trying to edit. But I found a fix over at XDA! Make the PHONE calendar visible in the default calendar app. I can't explain it, but no more contacts crashing.

Thanks for the suggestion. I really didn't want to do that because I had just gotten it the way I wanted - you know how long that can take when you like everything just so! - but the factory reset fixed the contacts crashing issue.

I have a brand new LG g3 syncing only my google contacts. When I edit an existing contact, and it seems to be only ones that have a birthdate, the contacts app crashes. I have removed my Gmail account, cleared data, and re-synced, only to have the problem recur. the only work around I can think...

Thanks for the info, but that's not working for me. Swiping just unlocks the phone and doesn't show lock widget options. I set an unlock PIN and the second page showed but said it can't be edited in security mode? Not a huge deal, but confusing... Sent from my VZ GS3 via Android Central...

I also use LightFlow. I get that blue flashing light for seemingly no reason every now and then. Rebooting my S3 has always fixed it.
