NT - Thanks for your ideas. By "speed dialing", go to phone, choose setting (the 3 dots in the upper right), choose Speed Dial, and then you can add contact for 2-99 (1 is set for vm). Then when you press that number on the dial pad, it will automatically populate with the "saved"...

ok - I take it by the lack of responses to my question, that either: 1. No one else is having this issue, or 2. No one else uses speed-dialing Are people just using the quick contact feature of the floating bar??? Thanks - Bob

Coming from a Motorola Droid Turbo -- so far, it's not been too daunting to move to the V30... However - for some reason, I'm not able to get the speed dial entries to "stick". I'll add a few, then go out of the phone app, then come back in, and the entries have disappeared! :( Any insight...
