I'm a newbie so what does a "flashable zip of nookie" mean? Is that a newer version of the current root image? (sorry, not sure of all the terminology)

I up to my neck in here & about to throw in the towel on trying to get nookie froyo. :( What is flashable ROM? I know how to Root my NC and would love to have Froyo without going the SD card route. If not, I'm taking my NC back today or tomorrow.

keyboard tip was great. SwiftKey Keyboard works great so far for me.
