Google+ is suddenly using massive amounts of data!

Noticed the same thing with my GF's HTC One tonight. Noticed my ping times to the web was 900-1000 ms and saw that my 2.4ghz network was steadily streaming something. Sure enough, checked her phone and saw that Google+ was utilizing 4.4GB of data today alone and it's only been 4 hours into 17...

Nexus 5 is better than the iPhone.

Thanks for sharing, Jeff. The Macros look great! This might be old news to some but came across this today... Google is working on a new Android camera API, supports Camera RAW | Ars Technica. Maybe that'll be step in the right direction towards further improving the camera on Android phones...

Nexus 5 is better than the iPhone.

On a recent overseas trip I brought along my fruit-device in hopes I would not carry my DSLR around. Surprisingly, said fruit-device wasn't even the best imaging device we had outside of the DSLR. Surprisingly, that honor went to the HTC One. It could have been the photographer (me) but the...

Nexus 5 is better than the iPhone.

Nexus 5 is better than the iPhone.

The slowness is very apparent when compared side-by-side to another phone such as the HTC One where you can fire off multiple almost-instantaneous shots. For someone like me, who went from an aging XT860, it is quite an improvement. There is definitely room for improvement with a software update...

Nexus 5 is better than the iPhone.

After a few days with the N5, I can say that it is a good bang for the buck. It's by no means perfect with some omissions and annoyances here and there (audio is horrible and camera could be better) but, for the price point, can't really complain. What is much more obvious is that KitKat is not...

Nexus 5 is better than the iPhone.

I agree with this observation. After so many revisions of Android, I don't understand why Google can't get this right? There is no way in hell I'm switching to iOS but come on... we're on Android version 4.4. Why are these things not yet addressed without the need to install an app or tweak?
