I personally had to make kind of the same choice when I was replacing my MacBook, i went with the tab s4, use it for school n work and don't regret it. I did want a Samsung laptop/tablet combo, but as stated above windows isn't the best as a tablet and DeX is amazing if you understand androids...

Definitely underrated, I use my tab s4 in DeX mode almost 99% of the time. Its actually replaced my macbook for school and some work.

I think I be part of them removing it was the amount of complaints from ppl online. They probably figured they'll set it at it's best setting and leave it like that. Kind of like how apple does on iOS.

This has been my biggest grip with the tablet phone combo from Samsung. They do with there laptops quite while and dont see why they dont on the tablet. The o ly thing that would have made me get an Samsung chrome book over the s4.

The pen holder on my OEM Samsung case holds the pen very well, but you have to make sure you push and hear the click to insure its secured.

I believe it only works if you have the LTE version.

I own both and use them in conjunction with each other for work n school. Great combo

tou have to push it till it clicks, there is a rim at the bottom that clicks in and holds it secure. I travel daily with mine and never worry about the pen. This is only with OEM case of course.

Hey yall, just wanted to let everyone know the Keyboard Cover for the Tab S4 is currently on sale at Bestbuy online and in store. I saved over $80 picking one up. Great time if you wanted one but didn't want to pay the price, which was $200+ here on canada.
