    The Samsung + app in my replacement phone has a "check my phone" option in the "For You" section that will automatically check the database.

    The policy should be more clear. My parents bought theirs in store at a franchise store. They had to get the replacements from only that store, and that store would only issue replacements to customers who bought their original Note there. Online orders can only go to a corporate store...

    We pre-ordered two note 7s from sprint.com and we were told they had to be returned to a Sprint Corporate store to get our replacement note 7s which I was able to do last Saturday with no trouble. I was told by Sprint that it had to be a corporate store and not a franchised location. Chesapeake VA

    This is what reporting the news should be. No hysteria and speculation. This is the the problem, how Samsung is rectifying, where you can find a a replacement, what new phone will look like... All great information that probably would have made the recall in the US go more smoothly. Good...

    Maybe just my imagination but, it seems noticeably more responsive. My first one was very laggy the first couple days almost to the point where I was going to reset and set up as a new device. I had done the transfer from my note 5 to the note 7. After a couple days it seemed to get better...

    The other one belongs to the hubs and he's not inclined to go to the trouble of finding out. Said as long as it's clean in database that's good enough for him.

    Everything was perfect. All appeared brand new. I checked the database on my poor little defective note 7 before we even started the exchange process to be sure the two I was picking up checked out good. I felt a little sad giving up the old one. I blew it a little kiss before I reset it...

    I kept everything including the stylus. They didn't check or ask. Was still crazy busy with iPhone people though.
