If you installed the Loki'ed TWRP recovery and backed up prior to removing those apps, restore works to stop the security error. I tested it myself. I'm not sure though if you can get the phone to the point of being able to install the recovery though if it is already at the security error.

I bought an Evo yesterday out of impulse. The OV will be retired to a HUD on the race car.

I accidentally spilled water on my OV last September and some went in the headphone jack, causing it to stay in headphone mode for about a day.

I didn't mind the OV in stock form. I initially rooted it to get rid of Twidroyd because it was putting ads in the notification bar. After a year of messing around with all the different options, I've ended up back on a Froyo ROM.

I would too, but I also have a contingency plan to have someone update my Facebook, Twitter, and various forum posts from beyond the grave, so good luck convincing them that I'm actually dead.

I'm sticking with the OV. I can live with throttling on my current plan, but at $35/month and $300ish for the phone, I see no point in upgrading for two weeks of 4G and 2 weeks of sub 256kbps per billing cycle.

I wonder if there is some miscommunication going on. I mean, technically, T-Mobile's 4G is 3G.

It's done it on everything from the stock rom, to Harmonia, IHO, and Quattrimus. I think 84% is missing too, I can't remember.

I couldn't search this because of the small size of the term, but has anyone else noticed that their battery life skips from 96 to 94 percent?
