Got it! I'm gonna stick with stock then. Thank you. If the essential 2 is in the works I would imagine further extensive work will go into the camera to get rid of the bad rap so to speak. I am hoping that will lead to ongoing improvements in the original phone camera software too :)

I still prefer my keyone over the essential and blackberry patches are some of the fastest in the biz. The essential is a nice second phone but for productivity, mad typing, crazy battery life and overall security, blackberry still can't be beat IMO.

Yes. I worded it incorrectly. The processing of images seems faster and low light pictures seems a tiny bit better.

I find the notification on 2.0 worse in general. They are less visible.

I find the lack of phone inclusion in the do not disturb mode and uselessness of Google assistant kind of frustrating. I am also getting spotty notifications. A vibrate but no visible indication for notification. Anyone else? Suggestions to improve? Caveat. It is my first day in with 2.0

That would refer to bb10 OS. Android market includes all manufacturers which now includes BlackBerry mobile.

The latest October updates to the keyboard and hub and calendar are great. I always want the latest greatest but I really can't say anything against this device right now. Having the Virtual and physical keyboard is a dream!!
