Tried again last night (as I've been trying every day), and the update actually showed up. I downloaded and updated without incident. So it took a while to become available on my phone, but at least it finally showed up.

AT&T no longer uses their Visual Voicemail app on newer android phones. It has been replaced with their consolidated messaging app, AT&T Messages. It came pre-installed on your phone. Set it up and you will have visual voicemail. Posted via Android Central App
