Marshmallow came with my Moto G4. I ended up unlocking my bootloader and flashing a Nougat rom. I couldn't wait any longer with all this.

I think it's a noise canceling microphone.

I guess the USA will be the last to roll out Nougat.

Same here. I bought this phone a month ago and it lasts me at least 2 days and minimal usage. Do you disable all background data apps or certain ones like Facebook?

For your situation, I'd probably go with the Swipe screen only.

Go under settings - security

In Screen Lock choose "None"

My Moto G4 has the option for "None" for the lock screen.

That does not work for me when I try that 🙁

The only issue I have is the screen flickers when incoming calls shows up.

The app I use is called Should I Answer? and it works pretty well...
