I know this sounds corny, but my temporary workaround for the dreaded P505 black screen bug was to plug in my charger. ;) But I still can't do rapid power OFF/ON. [EDIT] I just found the CPU throttle settings and set 480/600 per recommendation. It works, though I still have to wait a few...
