Two ways. First to delete entire threads aka conversations: Menu > Delete Threads From there all you do is select the threads you want to delete and viola! They are all gone. You can do the same process within a thread to delete individual texts. Hope this helps!

Are you sure your headphones are plugged into the jack all the way. My jack had worked frpm day one with no problems at all. Seems like your phone has some odd problems. Perhaps you should take it to a verizon store.

I don't really have a problem with call quality. I have asked multiple people, especially when I first got the phone, if I sounded different and how the call quality was. No one said that I sounded different and the call quality was fine. Might be a phone specific issue like DroidXcon mentioned.

Yeah, at first I wasn't too thrilled with how you went back and edited text. After awhile though I am noticing I am able to just tap on the screen in the right places now. I guess practice makes perfect.

I think it may be still new and many of the owners haven't found their way over here yet. Some of android forums for the continuum are more active than this one.
