@alpinem3, @Ivy_21, I had the same issue while rooted with Z4mod. I was able to unroot and the update installed successfully. However, after the update Z4mod no longer works. I was able to root again using SuperOneClick v1.6.5.

I also switched from the Palm Pre loved the OS hated the hardware and with no update in sight I switched. Sent from my Galaxy Tab using Tapatalk Pro.

Can anyone tell me how LP runs on the Galaxy Tab. I am interested in this just want to make sure I won't have any issues with it. Thanks

After I have plugged my Tab into my computer and have mounted the drive I find that it deletes certain shortcuts from my home screen. Has anyone else had this issue? I do safely eject the drive and unmount before I disconnect it. This is on a Windows 7 machine.

If you have rooted your Tab I recommend using Bloat Freeze to stop the bloat. If you have not rooted your device but are looking to try Z4Root simple and works like a charm.

Thanks for all the responses. I have heard that you can only use the application with an active data connection. Is this true? This would be a major turn off for me as I will not always have either the 3G or wifi connection when I will be using the software.

Is anyone using Documents to Go on there Galaxy Tab? Has it been optimized for this? I am looking for a good document editing application. I need to be able to create new and open existing docx files? I realize that this app is going to cost me and I don't mind that I need the best option...
