I have a Note 2 and the Zenwatch has never disconnected from the watch as long as they were in bluetooth range -- not without a good reason (something blocking the signal). I'm glad to know about this because I was considering upgrading to a Note 4 when my contract is up in March.

I recharge and restart every night (same as my phone), but the watch is rarely below 50% when I put it on the charger before I go to bed. The only time this wasn't the case was when I set alarms on the phone. That had the battery down to 14% by 3 pm, even though it was only 2 alarms per day.

How did you do this? I can't find an app-specific setting. I've got "Mobile data [selected]" and "Limit mobile data usage [not selected]" for the phone. Can't find anything in the Google app itself.

Phone settings > Connections > More Networks > Mobile Networks: Mobile data [on] Unless you are referring to some other setting? (BTW "OK Google" works perfectly on the phone itself -- just not on the watch.) P.S. I'm also working with Verizon to see if their network is blocking the watch...

I am having exactly the same problem on my brand new ZenWatch. It has to be software. None of the suggestions here work. The only thing that makes OK Google work is putting the phone on WiFi. Posted about it in the ZenWatch forum.
