There aren't any settings that I can see that mention convert to mms. Also the texts I am receiving are from two android phones.

So the sender's settings are set to MMS with 160+ text messages? On my old Android phone it had no problems keeping the messages together, from the same people sending me long messages.

I haven't seen any settings that indicate any such 160 message limit or anything of the sort.

Update: I worked with a Google representative on this issue. We did several things involved clearing more cache and data, lots of phone restarts. One option I couldn't do on my phone was change the date and time to something incorrect, which we couldn't go further with that possible solution...

As described by the other poster, I uninstalled the updates and it worked fine, but the Play Store updated and it is back to not working. I have an LG Lucid 2 with Google Play 4.9.13, and I don't know how to clear the system cache parition.
