I'm a bit new to tablets, so I'm looking for some advice. I want to be able to play games, and watch movies in high quality. I'm not sure which way to go here. Which is faster? I don't know how to gauge/compare the cpu speeds. Which has longer battery life? Thanks for any input.

I just gave up, and today it's suddenly working again. I have no clue what's up with this thing. I didn't touch anything else. It just decided to stop giving me alerts for four or five days, then start again. I have no idea why, or how long it will last.

Bumping for ideas. I have every option I can find checked to alert me to new Gmails, but it flat out refuses to alert me when I have new Gmails. I can manually check my inbox through the Gmail app and see that there are unread emails, but there are no alerts of any kind anymore.

I'm not sure what's up with it at this point. I appear to have found a way to turn autosync back on - when I go to the directory where it used to say autosync was off, it now has a green sync logo, and the date and time it was last synced, but I'm still not getting the audio alerts, or any...

I noticed I hadn't received any Gmail alerts on my phone in a couple days. Checked my email manually and sure enough, there were a bunch there. When I go to apps > settings > accounts/Google, it has my account at the top, and "Sync is OFF" underneath it. I've looked through every option I can...

That one seems to be working better. I'm getting the one-minute alerts for missed calls and texts, but not Gmails. Any ideas about the Gmail alerts? I'm just using the stock Gmail app that comes on the phone in the Google app cluster. Thanks again.

There's also no notification for a missed text. Just calls. So no alerts for missed texts or Gmails. Anyone know how to set this up? Thanks.

Seems helpful. I'm a bit of a phone noob though and can't seem to find any setup for it after installing it. It did make a 'ping' noise about seven minutes after a missed call. It didn't give any alert for a new Gmail after several minutes. I can't seem to find a guide or any instructions for it.

Just got a Moto G through Boost. Is there any way to set this thing to periodically play a sound or vibrate when I have a missed call? I obviously can't see the blinking light or the notification message when the phone's in my pocket, and I'm in and out of noisy areas, so I don't want to miss a...
