Hi Just tried changing the date and checked for software updates but it said that my download was incomplete and that the phone would automatically recheck for updates over the next 48 Hours

Not sure what happened but last night when I checked for available software updates for my AT&T S3 I had a 623.10mb software update there so I proceeded to attempt to download it.. It started right up and reached 120 MB and 20% after more than an hour of the download when it stopped with no way...

Just checked for updates on my AT&T S3 and it said it was "up to date" but to check back in 6 hours and 19 minutes.. So i'm guessing that we are about to receive Jelly Bean 4.3.. Not quite Kit Kat but not bad..
