Honestly, if they were going to support the phone for 4 years instead of 2, I would have already prepurchased. Now I'm considering a HTC10 or possibly Axon 7; which arguably have worse software support. If you want to compete with the iPhone, support it like the iPhone.

This is 100% why I'm not buying a Pixel. If Google wants to charge the same as an iPhone, and are pushing software hard, they need to support their devices for the same amount of time as Apple does.
