No idea, but the noises that I still need to hear, like ringtones , alarms and messages and everything still works, I think they might be like emergency tones and things of that nature. Not sure though! However, it works... So for now its fine..

Hey guys , found the solution for turning off the sound, I have a Verizon Galaxy S5 and even though i got the Koolpad wireless charging with no sound it would drive me nuts to hear samsungs own wireless charging noise. Go to settings, then volume and turn the system volume all the way to off...
