@PaWe Since I factory reset the device before repair by removing my Google account before reset in order to avoid triggering the 'factory reset protection'. Now when I setup the device again it's it not listing my S7's old backup. I had hefty amount of apps installed already. Any idea on this...

Got the device after repair all good now. I reset the device yesterday before repair. Now I reset the device again for Google to ask to install all the apps that were installed before the first reset during the setup process. But it didn't even list S7's backup

No. Physical damages are not covered in warranty. Since it's manufacturing defect I have to convince them that. That's the tough job.
