Seems like dolphin got updated. Its very fast and smooth.

using wifi. This happens to only the nexus 6. Nexus 7 with 5.0.1 scrolls smoother than a baby's bottom. So do all my samsung phones. (S4 and S5 LTE-A).

Is this the i9505 or i9500? edit: I see you're on 4G. On the i9500 I can't seem to get anything lower than 9xx mb.

Nothing trying to troll here. Trying to love this phone. Coming from a nexus 4 makes it difficult because of the smoothness of stock android. my build ends in MDK. Strange, it says I have the latest software when I check for updates... you sure the latest build ends in MDL for the I9500?

Switching between apps is very slow. Minimizing apps and bringing it up again is extremely slow. Starring the camera takes more than 5 seconds

I know that the i9505 has idling ram at 600-700mb after the update. My i9500 has the latest updates but still consumes 900mb-1gb ram after restarting and not using any programs. Anyone have similar problems?

Having a few apps open on the S4 would start causing the stutters. The nexus 4 could handle way more apps open smoothly.

Any light use will put at least more than 1.2GB ram in use.

Not the case on my nexus 4. 30 tabs open and running like a champ.
