Will factory reset work?? :O I'm planning to ask for a replacement on this device :O

Using my M8 for almost 15 days & its really stunning :) Everything in this device is Top class. One major problem i face is "My M8 gets heated up too bad while charging i.e i cant even hold it or make a call immediately after unplugging it from the charger, I'm unhappy with that :("
