Every time I have had a phone without a screen protector, it ended up with a shattered screen or scratches. I bought the whitestone dome for my note 8 which is absolutely amazing. It feels like just how the bare screen feels.

I found it a lot easier to put it than regular screen protectors. The kit makes it look intimidating but trust me it is very simple. And by the way Geeksquad at bestbuy will put it for you for $8, which is a waste of money considering how easy it is to do it yourself

I was going to upgrade from my Note 4 to Note 7 but didnt because of the battery fiasco. My note note4 had died so I was using an iphone 7. now coming back to Note 8 feels like like upgrading to Business class from economy

How do you like the Alcantara case? Does it catch a lot of dirt? I ordered mine from Samsung and its not shipped yet. I have Whitestone Dome screen protector on. Have you tried the case with a screen protector?

I am definitely in that boat. I was using a Note4 and was so ready to upgrade to Note 7 but didn't because of the battery fiasco. I knew Samsung would come back much stronger with Note 8 so I preordered on the very first day and I was not disapointed. The Note 8 is the best phone I ever owned.

I have watched some unboxing videos and they all had a wrap and a security seal. But looks like the US versions do not come with a security seal. Thanks everyone for the input!

I just received my new unlocked Note 8 today from Samsung. But the actual black box of the phone does not have a seal or a plastic wrap on it. Shouldn't there be a seal or a plastic wrap like any new electronic product you buy? Did anyone receive their phone the same way?
