I've had my S8+ a little over a week. I rely on my calender for many many events per day. However, it doesn't play the alerts. The event will show up on the screen like normal, but the alert doesn't sound. I've seen via Google that others have had this issue with the S8/S8+ and previous models...

when I hit the CIRCLE with the pen in it....I want it to go to the TO: screen without the RECENT CONTACTS...like the (SAMSUNG) Messages app does. Sure I can switch it back to that app, but this app has more things I'd like to use. I just HATE the RECENT CONTACTS popping up there.

I cant get this to work. it goes to the camera (double click) real quick then to the home screen.

THIS WAS THE FIX FOR ME!!! I did this last week and it's been spot on since. A MILLION THANKS!! I'll share it on the other two threads I've followed with the same issue.

Well it's been over a month since I started this thread...still not working. THIS SUCKS

Same issue here. I don't want a new keyboard. I just want the existing keyboard to work like it did for the first 6 months I had the damn phone. It's a pain in the @$$ retyping cool words all the time. Tlaquepaque is a tough word to type over and over again.
