Settings -> applications -> all -> Google services framework. Clear data. Wait 5 minutes. Settings, system updates, update Samsung software. Voila, you will now update ota. Sometimes I have to do it twice for it to take.

Yup, it's glass. It's gonna be perfect until it's shattered. There's no scratching it easily like with plastic screens, and it might survive 10 drops. But that ONE bad drop....done.

Gorilla Glass is HARD, not STRONG. Hard means it's really tough to scratch. When two things rub against each other, the softer one wears away, the harder one endures. Your screen will usually win. It's NOT strong through. Glass itself, just the stuff in your windows in your house, is hard...
