I uninstalled and haven't had an issue since then. The notifications were driving me nuts.

Update: The contacts still appear on my outlook.live.com so it's definitely a sync issue . Deregistering the account and putting it back up should fix this.

This just happened to me recently. I lost over half my outlook contacts miraculously. Thankfully I had most of them backed up to my gmail so it wasn't such a bother. I use an LG V10

Finally got the update and it turns out my Yahoo email crashes the stock email app. I get the 'unfortunately email has stopped' error. App source also crashes when i try launch the app.

If I won, I would retire my beat up Galaxy S5 and use it as my daily driver. :)

Definitely gonna go for it. Just bummed that the OTA update appeared then disappeared. Can't do it via bridge till I get off work in a few hours.
